900 or P180?

Out of the two cases which is easier to work in and will allow the installation of a Tuniq Tower? I'm currently leaning towards the P180 due to a nice solid enclosure which would lead me to believe that it would be sightly less noisy.

Out of the P180 line, is there any difference other than case color between the P180/P180B/P182?

Thanks!

Get the p180 if you want to be cool like me.
Get the 900 if you want to be cool like many others.

Either way, your not just cool, your Antec cool.

Both cases seem good at what they offer... I'd say flip a coin... solves so many problems...

Either that or go for the 900... it seems to have better potential for cooling, though the P182 also has good potential. You can't really lose in this situation, since either way, you get a good case for your money.

129.99 for the 900
159.99 for the P182

Such a hard choice, I think overall the P182 looks the best. Nice finish, and its very minimal and small looking. It doesn't quite look like a huge monster of a case~

Time to break out a coin I think.

i'd go with the p182.

comes in either gunmetal or a special 'mirror' edition.

identical to the 180 except it has speed controls for the top and rear exhaust fans on the back, holes for water cooling, notches behind the motherboard tray to run wires, and an hd front panel audio connector...u might want to wait for the p190 however, as it seems to be kind of a combination of the 180 & 900. It looks like a 180, but is a little wider and a lot deeper, has a large 200mm side fan and 2 top 120mm fans. Its also designed for TWO vertically mounted psu's.

But wiring the 180 can be a b****, but with the 182 its MUCH neater, and more simple to perform. In the end its up to you to see which one has the best options. ALso if noise is a consideration at all, u may as well go with one of the p18x series...i've heard that the 900 can be loud and dusty.

I happened to get a p180b from newegg with all of the p182 features....which was a win-win situation for me; it currently lists for much lower than the 182, and i wanted black :D

you're pretty spot on. Dealt with one of them before. The case was real nice until i hit a snag. power supply didn't want to behave. Putting the thing on the bottom caused some wire-length issues. You may have to buy 24pin & 4/8 pin power extensions as those connectors are usually on the very top of the motherboard. Other than that, its a really nice case to work with. May i recommend the Antec Trio series PSUs, their wires work perfectly with Gigabyte's DS3/dq6 series (no extensions needed).

The P182 is wuite a bit diffrent from the P180. It was designed to allow for better wireing of the system. You are able to run many of the wires along the back side of the motherboard tray. It has 2 120mm fans on the top and a 200mm fan on the side. The even designed it to hold 2 PSUs. Other then that it looks a lot like the P180 but with a diffrent color. Now the P180b is black and the P180 is silver.
No. That's the P190 you're talking about. Not the P182.

i have the 900 and a tuniq tower and it fits fine.i also have 2 8800gts cards in there.the only complaint i have is it lets more dust into case and will need cleaned sooner.my power supply is the silverstone 750 watt strider and it has long enough cables to power everything too.hope this helps with your decision

I bought the p182...I was thinking about getting the special edition but I think the gunmetal black looks the best. Anyways, this case is worth the upgrade over the p180 just for the cable management...all of the cables run on the back side of the motherboard tray (although I had to buy a 8pin to 8pin atx cable extension. The case stays really cool with all 5 five fans installed also.

I read somewhere that the Antec 900 is big enough for cards like 8800 GTX, but the P180 isn't. Could somebody confirm this please?

Both cases are great, I have the 900 because I don't like the front doors. Opening a door every time you have to insert a CD, DVD or whatever is kinda annoying to me. And the door opens to the left, which makes even more annoying the process because the PC is mostly located at your right...

At the end, is you personal preference. That polished finish looks fine tho 8)

a lot of people say the 900 is a "monster" of a case and that is it so huge, but it is actually smaller than the p180. I like the 900 better personally.

Ah hell! Hmm should I go back and return it...just saw this.

P180/P180(Black)

79.99 after rebate!?

Only difference between the 180 and 180 Black is case color? And the only difference between the P180/180Black and P182 is the cable management behind the motherboard?
