You have set ranges too wide. And more, people may have less than 20 GB total HD space.

My total HD spce is 53 GB

Currently 80GB but I'm having issues w/ space, so I'm gonna go for 4 way raid 0 and get 160Gb total soon.

Is this all drives I have at home or only my main rig?
Main rig: 61GB
Second rig: 40GB
Bro's PC: 10GB
Server: 2GB
Pentium 166: 2GB

That is 115GB total.

Those are really bad ranges. Should be:

0-20
21-60
61-100
101-180
181-300
<300

As maybe less than 1% of people have greater than 300 GB, then that shouldn't matter to have so many <300 choices.

If you had 0 wouldn't that mean that you didn't have a hard drive?

4.2GB on twin Quantum Pioneer drives.

My main rig crapped out on me and I'm currently using my P200MMX for tasking. I'm surprised. SETI is running in the background and my antivirus. Unfortunately I can't play my favorite game but that's okay. My new CPU should be coming in sometime next week. Hopefully...

95GB starting last friday, 1 15GB Maxtor, 1 WD 80GB JB.
'Course they're not at the exact amount, it's more 14.3 and 76GB.

Actually, what HDD manufactuers call "80GB" (80 billion bytes) is actually 74.5GB, not 76.

1 x Maxtor D740X 80Gb

Just gave away 1 x IBM 60GXP 40Gb as a christmas present.

Hey Poobaa, I got the 800JB, and it is DEAD SILENT!
Not a single scratch hearing, just like my Maxtor 15GB!
Gotta love the defragging and boot-time defragging speed it has.

If its dead silent its probably turned off
But yes, the 800JB is the quietest ive heard, even beating my old 60GXP which was damn near inaudable, and this is in a case that has the drives infront of dual casefan holes that can let noise out.

It makes the D740x sound expecially scratchy.

Crap. I just counted the main system (2xWD800JB). Now I've got to remember what the hell are in my other two boxes and look at the drives I didn't mount yet. That'll add at least another 50GB. I'm not going to bother looking at the 486 or the Mac though. They're not worth it.

The hell with that. You need to find the old monster drives for that. I've got an old 50 MB 8 inch drive, and my boss hass one that's at least 6 inches tall. That's decoration.
