We all know that DirectX 10 can’t be used on XP but Vista, all I want to know is can I use DirectX 9 on XP playing DirectX 10 games? Or Can I use DirectX 10 on Vista playing DirectX 10 games with DirectX 9 video card such as Nvidia 7600GS?

Any help or information will be much appreciated.

Yes, your 7600 will be able to play DX10 games using DX9. They just won't have all the new eye candy.
