I'm seeing a lot more 2.5" drives used in products lately, and with 2.5" drives becoming common in servers is it likely they'll become mainstream in standard systems any time soon?

JT - the 2.5" Drives in Servers are usually SAS, and suffer from relatively small capacities (144GB 10K and 72GB 15K). They are built for speed and not capacity. But with 2 144GB 10K SAS Drives and 2 300GB SATA Drives you could still get a decent combination of speed and capacity using nothing but 2.5" form factor, but then with 4 drives your not exactly saving space.

As for this article, where is WD? I keep looking at the WD Passport and was hoping this review would tell me if its the right choice, but Toms didnt see fit to include this drive in its review.

Whats up with that?
