How to configure the switch

i had a linksys 16 port switch,DSL w/ staitc ip address and my switch connected to the router my question is how do i configure the switch because i cant browse the NET will i use Ip adresses.... NEED HELP

if its not a managed switch, i doubt it is, then you can not configure it, it should just sit there switching...

when you say you can not connect what do you mean? does the router give out DHCP addresses to your network?

how is it set up?

router => switch => PCs?
