amd 64 3500 (venice)
a8v asus mobo
6800 ultra bfg oc edition vid card



trying to decide if 1 gig versus 2 gig of corsair xms 3200 there is about a $30 price diffrence after a rebate on the one gig package

my next upgrade in about two months will be

am2 6000 with 2 gb dominator series with the 8800gtx card

but to hold this system over till then and then it just becomes another system in my house to use

would you upgrade to the 2 gig or keep the one gig? considering there close to same price

ill just do the 2 gig since same price and it will help in future for that system anyways.

If you will be upgrading to an AM2 MB, remember that you will have to buy all-new RAM for that, since it takes DDR2, which isn't compatible with your current DDR RAM.

Mondoman is correct, you will not be able to use your old ram. I don't recommend dominator ram either, it's too expensive. I recommend this memory.
