Hi all, i'm new on forum.
Well i just purchased a DS3 mobo and a C2D E 6300 with 2x1Gb pc 6400 ram for a up-grade of my pc [ AMD barton 2600+].
I plan to put the C2D with a GF 7900gs and i have a PSU dillema. My Enermax EG301P-VB worked well during past 4 years, but 300w and 22A on a single rail is not enough, especially when i keep in mind OC.
my new rig is :

Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3
C2D E 6300 - it will be OC ~ 2.8 ghz maybe 3
G.Skill PC6400 2048Mo DDR2 PK (2x1GB)
GF 7900gs
1x7200 rpm HDD
1xDVD/RW Drive
1xFDD
1x pci 4 port USB 2.0 extention card

Thats all, now i don't know wich PSU to buy, i found 2 at a nice price :
Antec TruePower Trio 430W
Fortron 400W ATX FSP400-60GLN

Both are listed in PSU recommended list, Fortron i a little bit cheaper - 51 euro, since Antec is for 65 euro.
Antec delivers 32 A combined power, Fortron 29A.
I've read some reviews and the 430 w Antec is not as much good performer ( voltage stability under load) as the bigger 500& 600W versions.
Any suggestions...

Thanks for advice, if i could i would take the FSP AX450 as it seems as best price/perfomance, with some headroom, but the only avaible i can get is 400w and 500 w models. I don't need 500w since i don't mind going SLI, BTW 500w models seems not so quiet as 400w.
I think i will go with FSP 400, it's cheaper and still very quiet, i used the well known PSU calculator lite version and my system in theory (100% load) will put no more than 310W... the 3rd alternative is a Morex Intelligent Power Gold 500W - it's a derived model of AC Bel reference, but apparently very loud under load, even thought it's not to shabby in preformance compared to Enermax Noisetaker.

P.S. To bad that many good PSU are not widely avaible in Europe.

I just built a pair of similar systems to yours, I went with the Ultra X2 550W power supply. Its quality, and Ultra has great support after... case in point: My original X1 500W unit started to think it was overheating and would shut down on its own... they replaced the unit, almost no questions asked.

Best part has to be the flex-connect cables. Not only are they flat, flexible, bendable... but they plug into the PS as you need them. No need to have the huge honkin wire harness with this unit... very nice!

ZipZoomFly has them for $89.99, free shipping. Need/Want some bling, they have one with built in UV Blue lights inside... same price but has a $20 rebate going on that unit right now.
