my biostar tforce 550 SE motherboard just came today and I wonder I need to update the bios or not.

It says Supports Bios Update: Supports G-step AM2 CPUs. What CPUS are G-Setp AM2 CPUs?

I am using AMD x2 5600, am I effected by that?

By the way, I don't have floppy, so how am I going to update the bios >.>;

Hey man, did that work out for you? I have the same cpu with the Tforce 590. it's been acting weird and I can't even find Biostar's main website. There is like three of them and all of them are incomplete. Sorry to bring this back from the dead
