my rigs:

E6300
Asrock 775Dual VSTA
Inno3D Geforce 6600GT AGP
1 x 1 GB Kingston KVR PC 5300
120 MB & 40 MB HD Seagate IDE
Thermaltake 430 W

i just bought new 1 GB Kingston PC5300, but when i saw the chipset it got "hynix" chips, but the old one dont......im forgot what chips brand....

should I change the old one to match the hynix one?
does it affect overall performance? how much?

any link?

Assuming you are talking about PC2-5300 RAM (which is DDR2) and not PC-5300 RAM (which would be DDR, but probably doesn't exist :wink: ), you should be fine just with plugging in the new module.
