Hi all, I'm on a secondary computer, hence the name.

When installing Windows XP I get an error saying "Setup failed to install the product catalog"

I went to the Microsoft website, and found the error listed there. I followed the 3 possible solutions to no avail.

Has anyone ever had this error and overcame it?
Every time I start up my computer, it restarts the setup where it last left off, Is there any way I can start up setup from scratch, like I'm installing on a blank hard drive (If I have to reformat, that's fine)

Can you try another installation disc then post if it works or not?
