thanks for your help m8!!!!! i fink al go for the hyper coz they just look so cool, but maybe go for a Hiper 580W Type-R Modular http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?rb=26913241869&action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X3NwZWNpZmljYXRpb25z&product_uid=98562&spec_type=ZXh0ZW5kZWQ=

it says it'll take 630w but am not sure on the amps, i want sumthing that will let me overclock

as a general rule, the higher the amps you have on a 12v+ rail the better

right now you probably want anywhere from 30+

in the near future i wouldnt be surprised if systems require 32 at a minimum

freaking power hogs

Listen to mpilch, he knows his stuff. I ended up with a 520W Corsair and I couldn't be happier. I believe it provides 40 amps across three 12V rails.

I would suggest going with a 650-700watt psu, just about all of which will have enough amps on the 12volt rails to run your system and then some.Always go for more than you need, that way you know you have enough to do the job right.Goodluck.

Yeah, that would probably take care of things, but keep in mind that Thermaltake isn't exactly the best PSU company. There are worse ones out there and you might never experience any problems with your system, but if you like to play on the safe side, you'd be better off dropping $100-150 on something better (SeaSonic, Corsair, Silverstone, PC Power & Cooling, certain Antec models).
