Alright so, obviously raid 0 is a popular format to save a bit of money and get increased performance. My question arises in what HD's should I use to gain this performance? I myself am partial to Seagate drives as I've never had any issues with them. But is there any specific Seagate drive to use? Do the perpendicular recording drives produce increased performance? Anyone mind linking me to their choices? Personally I don't need large drives, sub 80 a drive is IDEAL! Thanks in advance for any insight that can be shared.

Go with a Seagate 120GB or a WD 120GB.

WD 120

or

Seagate 120GB

Both of these are SATA2 drives you might need to change them to IDE drive if these are not supported by your motherboard.
