I use this main computer for various range of things. P2P and gaming is the brunt of it. I usually have bittorrent running 24/7 sending at half my upload speed, and the occasional send via IRC, and my connection gets REALLY slow sometimes and the only solution is power cycling the router and it gets very annoying when you have to do that everyday.
My question is what is a good router setup for fast networking between my 2 other desktops, no connection drops or slowdowns, and gaming?
Fast networking and no drops/slowdowns are priority.
This is my current hardware setup:
Motorola SB5101 cable modem
Belkin F5D7230-4 router
And my other computers (3) all have Belkin related devices to connect wirelessly. (PCI cards/Notebook card)(I should still be able to re-use this with a different brand router, right?)
