Retention Module broke

I have a GA-K8NS Ultra 939 board, ran stable for 3 years or so and now out of the blue one of the pegs that the Retention Module snapped and the fan/heatsink came off . I was able to remove the retention module from the board without hurting anything (Push Pin style) and I was wondering if and where I can get a replacement. It would be a total shame to trash the board for something so small. I did a search using google and all I found was retention modules for P4 . I assume these things aren't universal.

Anyone know of a place that I can get one to get this board backup and running?

try contacting your mobo manufacturer.
they should be able to send you one.

this could also be an excuse to buy a good aftermarket cooler. The really nice ones come with a back-plate which requires you to remove the standard bracket anyways. If your manufacturer refuses to send you a new bracket, a shinny aftermarket cooler will allow the board to still function. You can also get a higher overclock

Thanks for the replies, I'll see what I can do at least I know I can still use the board, a new cooler seems like a quick easy Fix
