Most the topics on here are for wireless. My roomate and I are looking for a good wired router to replace the old Linksys 2140 that we currently use.

We have a very fast cable connection and 2 nice rigs and are big into FPS games. From what I gather reading on the forums it seems the DGl 4100 is the best choice. any other recommendations?

i used a d0link router and dont like them i like linksys better. they a very nice gaming router with wireless N that has 4x10/100/1000 ports and has all of the
stuff as the d-link does i think linksys is a better company. yeah some of there router's like the cheap one's are P.O.S's but i am useing a WRT300N linksys router with wireless N and the wireless N card and i can d/l play wow or cod2 and listen to music all at the same time and it works great but linksys does have a wireless N gaming router on newegg. the price is high but you get what you pay for. I spent $250 for the combo i got and its wireless so i only can think of what you can do on the Lan conntection.
