Hey guys, really didnt know where to post this so sorry in advance. I have my new rig setup an ready to order, its gonna be nasty, but i have a terrible monitor a SCEPTRE D73F http://www.sceptre.com/Products/Mo [...] s/d73f.htm
i recently heard that if u have a bad monitor it will make your games look laggier and not smooth. Is this true? if so, will my monitor make the cut? it's like 3 years old btw. Would i rather buy a 100 dollar 17 inch LCD? I will only buy it if this monitor makes my games look laggy and choppy and not smooth. Thank you in advance.

I don;t know much about the Sceptre, but CRTs are almost lag-free -better than LCDs on that, and also infinite color.
However, LCDs are becoming cheaper and cheaper, and also go better on the eyes.
