Win7 64...Internet Access problem

Hi everyone,

I've tried to find a solution for my problem but with no luck.

I've installed Win7 64 few days ago and I've noticed that only IE9 and MSN have internet access, programs like BS Player, Skype, Firefox, Chrome and etc cant connect to the internet.

I disabled the firewall, antivirus, checked and even uninstalled IE9 and the problem is still here.

Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem?

Is this a domain computer or just a home computer? If the internet connection is running a proxy then I guess you would need to configure these apps with the proxy settings.

It's just a home PC with a fresh install of Win7.There isn't a proxy, it is connected to the internet over a router but I checed that its not the problem, there is something with the windows that I cant figure out.

Update:

It occured to me to boot into safe mode and all of the programs have internet access.

Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem?

Problem solved, all I needed to do is write this in CMD as an Administrator and restart the PC,

netsh winsock reset
