I just recenlty got a EVGA 8800 GTS 320 Superclocked vcard. My question is if I use 1280x1024 resolution as my max, will I have any problems with the limited 320MB memory size in the near future.
I have a similiar thread and based on that responses I have gotten, I would say you will be fine at those resolutions. I want to run my native 16x12, so 320 will do it for now, but probaly not the future.

No, if near future for you is 6 months to one year. I think this time next year you and me probably will be looking for a new card for sli or a new card all around....

No you will not have any problems with that resolution. The wall people say the 320 MB version hits occurs when you try 1600x1200 resolution and higher, that's when the 320 MB will slow you down.
Yeah, you should be fine at that res. I have a similar rig with that same card and run 16x12, the included game (Dark Messiah) does lag a bit for me with in game AA turned up, so while I am happy with the card for the money at 16x12 I will definetely have to upgrade in the near future. But for you, I would say you should be happy for a while longer.
