Hello,

I recently bought a new computer and was going to install XP, when I realized a flaw in my plans... I want to have a RAID, but I don't have a floppy drive in my computer.

Is there any way that I can install XP on a RAID without it? Network install? USB drive? Anything?

Thanks a bunch, but I found that there's a program called nLite that will automatically add drivers to your XP install, so it all worked out!

The best solution is to integrate your SATA drivers into your XP installation CD. You need to make an ISO of the installation CD using PowerISO or similar, copy the drivers to it, and edit TXTSETUP.SIF according to the instructions here:

I have made customized XP installation CDs for my SATA hard drive and it worked for me. Incidentally the XP setup program will not detect an LS120 drive as a source for the SATA drivers.
