I have searched the topic both on TG Forumz as well as google. I am still not quite sure I understand it. What exactly is it supposed to do? What point in the process of OCing the system do I do this? So far, all i've done is run MemTest for about a day to make sure my ram is ok. Here is my system:

e4300
Gigabyte 965-DS3 v3.3 Bios 10 (bios came as 10, did not have to update)
Tuniq Tower
2x1GB GSkill PC26400 CL4D 4-4-4-12

So is the burn in the next step or is it not necessary? Do I have to set my bios to certain parameters before the burn in? Please help....my hobby for the next 4mo is to OC this thing to the max (stable) Thanks in advance!

You could look at Passmark software. They've got a burn in. The burn-in in my understanding is just the first few days or weeks you use the system, testing it and making sure everything works right.

Burn-in programs are supposed to speed up the process and put more stress on components to test to see if they will fail.
