System Hang up on MUP.SYS...please advise

well here is the problem. originally, My hang was on the AGP440.exe. I disabled it as their is a way to fix in the Microsoft website. it worked well but got hang up once again on the MUP.SYS. I did some research & was unable to find anything solid and sourcefull. Can someone please advise how this can be fixed. I dont want to have to reinstall windows again & loose all my data
