Is anyone using a GA-965P-DS3(rev.1.3)?

I'm trying to decide between rev. 1.3 and 3.3 of the GA-965P-DS3. But I can't find any reviews of people who've actually used 1.3 I can get rev. 1.3 for $23 less than rev 3.3 on Newegg. I only want to OC a E4300 to 3Ghz with it. From what I've read, rev 1.3 is a rev 1.0 slightly changed to support 1333fsb. So I'd like opinions of people who know about these boards. I'd really like first hand info from people who have used rev 1.3. Thanks.

I too am interested in this. Here is an interesting thread I found about this very topic--

What I am wondering is, do I need 1333? I plan to use an E6600, and ddr 800 (pc6400 ram). Would I be fine running something like that on this board? I think it'd be fine, but I am no expert here!
I take it that 1333 would be good to have for future upgrades right? Or would it give me problems with my 1066 e6600?

If all is well, I'll probably get the DS3 rev 1.3. instead of the rev 3.3. So what do you guys think?

(note--- on that thread I linked too, they mention that a lot of people prefere the rev 1 instead of 3 for overclocking.)

Thanks. I actually did come across that thread during my search. It helped but didn't fully answer my questions. The biggest being does it overclock just as well. Here are the differences I've found for rev 1.3 so far.

1. Older audio
2. Older Lan controler
3. Different capacitor/inductor layout (fewer?)
4. (Possibly different power regulation)

Both claim 1333FSB support. I assume this means you can drop a chip with 1333FSB in and it will work. However, most 1066FSB overclocking boards can can do 1600FSB easily anyway. To natively handle 1333 would probably just require a bios update.

So, after all I've seen, I'm going to go with rev. 1.3. I'll probably get it tomorrow when Newegg drops the price of the E4300.

I have read that the BIOS revisions are more important then the actual board revisions as far as overclocking is concerned
