original was 1.02
then 1.06

ASUS may not release 965/975 chipset revisions until Penryn which will be socket 775. ASUS has recently released BIOS revisions for the 965 chipset boards to run 1366 mz. FSB. Revisions to the current line of 775 boards may not be until later in the year and more BIOS revisions may come before any revisions.

I am talking about the motherboards. I do not know about the particular MB you are asking about. ASUS may not release revisions to socket 775 boards until later in the year for Penryn. BIOS updates yes, board revisions may not come until later in the year with the release of a new line of processors.

then why are there two revisions. 1.02 and 1.06
or are you speaking of AFTER the 1.06 ??

this is the rev number printed on the mobo just above the
ram slots

So far - after asking about 8 ebay sellers
there are 3 rev #'s
1.02g 1.03g 1.04g

still no definitive answer from asus. just the usual
email shuffle to another dept.
