I realize this is a rather abstract posting, but I would like some feedback from some of y'all out there... it is my opinion that many of the security holes found in software (especially Microsoft Windows) might have been deliberately put there as back doors into our computers for easy access by our governments. I guess my question is this...

Will total, absolute, 100% security ever be possible or will our government always demand a back door in? It just seems that if any back door exists, it will eventually be discovered and exploited.

I'm not one of these paranoid people who feels like he needs to hide everything from the government... I'm just annoyed that my personal security is potentially being compromised by their insistence on having access to all computers.
