can't send e-mail

when i try to send e-mail i get the message 'mail can't be sent' error code 0x8007274c. does anyone know what this means and what i should do to fix the problem. thx.

what program are you using to sent mails?
is its setup correct???
if the problem continues use web based mail client.

Can you recieve E Mail? If you can, it's likely your smtp address is wrong. If you don't know it's supposed to be, call you ISP.

verify your server addresses and passwords
make sure your firewall or anti-virus aren't disabling the connection, simple test is to check it out in safe mode with networking
