Need For Speed Carbon often crash

is it a bug with the game or the system?

i often get nfs carbon crash and back to desktop display in random period of time, sometimes it happens after 1 hour of playing, sometimes 2 hours or so. also sometimes it takes a long time to quit and back to desktop from the nfs carbon main menu.

for your information, i'm using c2d e6600, sapphire x1900xt (catalyst 6.10), asrock 775dual-vsta, corsair 2x vs1gb400c3.

is anyone keep getting the same crash with this game?

I get it after some time playing as well. ATI 9800 pro

The game has a few bugs , like sometimes it shows "Default Message" in a menu, and crashes the game when you press enter
