vob to avi

looking for a vob to avi converter? freeware please!
i currently own omniquiti lathe, but i cannot seem to maintain the dvd default res. suggestions?

also, maybe a program that will allow me to set a list of files to convert, so i can make a que?

Try Flask MPEG Encoder. I know it says MPEG to AVI, but it does VOB to AVI too. It's an older piece of software, but I like it, it's free, and it's AVI(DivX), so there is the compression factor. I don't know whether it can decrypt the vob files though, as I have only run it on my vob files AFTER tehy have been decrypted.
