you need to make sure you have your dns setup properly, resolving with both forward and reverse and recursive round trips

if you don't have another DC there shouldn't be any replication, also make sure you're not using DFS

oooh those sysvol errors can't be good
i don't know if it's your FSMO roles or something man...but also the box doesn't seem to be up to date with windows

why don't you demote it run a series of tests as a member server, if all goes well then promote it again...or just get 2003 8)

I have special stipulation, so i can't upgrade to win2003.
I ever demote it to general PC ,and i promote it ,which have same errors.
if i don't run in a member server , i can another method ?
i heard that global catalog and schema owner can't run in a DC ?
it is true ?
