I use Spysweeper 5.2 and CA Antivirus and im wondering, should I set IE7 security settings to low and let my security software handle it?? Or do I just leave IE7 default settings?? I just dot want any conflicts between IE7 and my security software.
Thanks
No, it definitely isn't necessary to do anything to your browser security settings with Spysweeper or antivirus software. In fact, I would pretty strongly recommend against using "low" security for general web browsing under any circumstances. While security software will certainly help with most problems, you should keep every (reasonable) line of defense available to you. It would be kind of like having a top of the line security system inside your house but leaving the door unlocked.
yes don't set the internet zone security level to low
as a matter of fact unless you use group policies or manually edit the registry, it won' let you go below the medium level anyway, it'll give u an error message, same thing if you use custom levels and set it to low and save the changes, next time you go to look at them it'll be back to custom level - medium
