In List of Vista Supported Hardware & Software it says Asus 802.11b/g Wireless LAN Card is supported by vista, can the person who made it work in vista please tell me how he did it?

This is what I did:
I installed the XP driver from the cd I got from the motherboard (Asus P5AD2-E Premium), and it installed successfully. The device manager said everything was working fine, but the connect button to the network was outgreyed and I couldnt click on it. It said something like; Your adapter isnt good enough for this network, or something. It works fine here in XP.

So I intalled XP again to get some help, hope someone can.

have you tried generic drivers for it rather than asus ones? see if you can test a couple others as I have heard some people saying generic drivers are working better on certain hardware than others.

the other thing someone mentioned to me was that they had used their drivers but an older version of them which then worked test that theory out too.
