I have a Win2003 server that is unreachable after a reboot. I have to manually type in my admin password before networking is started (the machine is unreachable by any means of networking).

A few seconds after I press ctrl+alt+delete and type my password and things are staring up, networking becomes available.

Any hints as to where I should start looking?

Register or log in to remove.

Select run and type "control userpasswords2". It should allow you to log in without entering a user id and password.

that's still not a resolution, a server's services should be fully operational without a user logged on since services are machine dependent not user

i'd check out your networking service's dependencies and startup types, maybe something that is only manual needs to be on automatic and it's creating a delay or needs user intervention, also see if you msconfig the machine to get rid of third party components if the issue goes away to narrow it down further
