HOORAY, the 8600 gpu have come out, strangly there is no 200 or 300 but a 6500 which is rate sort of at a budget gaming audien and is avalible for £90

however there seems to be no sign of a 200 or 300 yet
but if the 600 is as good as the 7600 was then i way work as a good chaep gaming card.

interestingly even the £200 GT 8600 only has 256 - (which we know is enough) but the latter 7600 mostly had 512. on nvidia website it claims a 13X advtage over integrated graphics.

These cards seem sort of lackluster to me. I guess they're to replace the 7-series cards. And after AMD's new cards come out, the prices will look better.
