Bought a Hitachi 60v715 LCDRPTV. I have 30 days to decide if this is the
set I want to keep, so I'm still looking to see if there is something I like
better before my 30 days are up. You guys familiar with this set? If so,
what do you think of it and is there something else I should be looking at?
I want at least a 60" set.

Also, I bought a copy of Digital Video Essentials that I've seen mentioned
here often. I've only go to the second set-up screen and am stumped. This
is the contrast adjustment and they say to adjust until you get blooming and
the two whites start to run together. However, the pattern only has the
sing white bar at the top with three other bars that get darker as they go
down the screen. Even with the contrast turned all the way up I don't see
the blooming. Any idea how I adjust this or what I'm missing?

Thanks

Highly probable on this particular set you will not see the normal
"blooming" experienced when adjusting the CRT based sets.<
