My Axim always defaults to work, so every time I want to log on to a
WiFi hot spot, I have to work my way down to network adapters, disable
the adapter, then set it for the Internet, then re enable the adapter
and then with luck I can log on.

This might create problems at the moment he decides to connect to a WLAN.
Usually this happens when he has defined that his network card connects to
work. Best practice would be to go to Settings/Connections
Tab/Connections/Advanced Tab/Network Cards/Network Adapters and there change
the first option box from Work to The Internet.
