I think Skulltrail is the codename for the dual socket enthusiast platform, not necessarily the CPUs themselves. More like a chipset, like Bearlake.

And Skulltrail has to be one of the craziest names ever! What's next? Necromancer?

If they wind up naming it Necromancer, somebody will be in some serious trouble.

LOL...

Maybe. I still have yet to visit all the rivers and valleys that Intel named most of their CPUs with, when I was training in Oregon. I didn't actually know there was a Willamette river until I was there.

Actually, I think the GPU name will be "Dungeness" for the type of crabs that are there... LOL

If Intel ends up naming a chip Pediculus, I'm joining Baron and Mrs. Bytch in the AMD fanboi horde.

I think I'd leave it to Fudman to name the types of crabs. :p

I've had enough of them that I was seriously thinking of opening a commercial crabbery. 8)

You guys should be careful what you name your poor excuses for a graphics chip. You don't want to piss off the Necromancers of the world. Call it "Peon" if you want to go the WarCraft way.

Name something in the desktop segment that "needs" this. And seriously.. don't say rendering, etc.

Since they name them after geographic locations... maybe they can open a factory in Intercourse or Blue Balls, PA.
