hello im just wondering if anyone could tell me how to make a scart as in TV scart to VGA convertor im sure i could do it if someone told me what i need and gives me a circuit diagram.

im sure google will have something on it but i cannot search google or any other form of search engine because of a stupid virus that i cannot get rid of even by formatting the drive and starting again!

and anyway isnt there a cable that does it?

More about : scart vga

[#0005ff]I'm rubbish on television cables but know a thing or two about malware - just enough to know formatting is a bit extreme. Post some details and we can point you towards getting rid of it. If it's getting in the way of Googling, it's probably just trying to get you to look at its adverts rather than where you want to go.

What have you tried to get rid of it? An AV won't be enough - try MalwareBytes from http://www.malwarebytes.com for statrers.

If you can't get rid of a virus after a full format (REALLY YOU WANT TO REMOVE THE PARTITION TABLE) then
the media you are using to install must also be infected. I take it you are using a full retail copy of the OS??

As for the converter as others have said very much doable. Just don't forget that you will be limited to 480p output as SCART will not do high def.

Get a new Windows/Linux/MacOS/whatever disk. Preferably in its original packaging.

Take the drive out, stick it in another computer, completely delete the partitions, ALL of them, then stick the (now blank) drive back into its own computer, perform OS install.

Then, before you do ANYTHING else, install a decent antivirus package. I am not going to recommend one here, since the usefulness of AV packages tends to change on a weekly basis...
