Different between 965P and 965G on the DS3?

This is looking to be my main mobo of choice for my comp in which i will build in about 1 or 2 months...

Generally, the 965G is used in conjunction with an onboard video chip.

The DS3 is a 965P

The 965G generally has onboard video and does not overclock as well as the 965P, it's not targeted towards gamers/enthusiasts.

Get a DS3 for your rig.

i don't think the P has integrated graphics, hence runs cooler, OCs better and has more spare PCI-E lanes (i think) than the G, essentially, if you are going to be using any graphics card at all P is the way to go.

I've built and own both chips, 965G and 965P. The 965P is the faster, more versatily overclocking chip. I can't explain how the people at Anandtech managed these conclusions.
