Cannot see a network connection icon in properties of My Network Places.
Have tried troubleshooting suggestions from MS and found that Network
Connections services is not started and I cannot start it and I cannot turn
on Simple TCP/IP Services - get error of setup could not copy 1 or more files
specific error code is 0x4b8. Also tried to verify that netman.dll is
registered correctly and received error "netman.dll is not an executable file
and no registration helper is registered for this file type." When I try to
run ipconfig, I get "C:\windows\system32\ESENT.dll not a valid Windows
image." I am able to browse my mapped drives but not able to access the
Internet. Thanks for your help.
