Need some graphic card advice pls :)

my pc is more than 3yrs old, still using Socket 478 P4 3.0 512kB L2 cache. i want to change my AGP card to a recent mainstream one, which is a good choice?

im targeting 7600GT AGP, but will my processor be the bottleneck?

p/s: im not thinking of buying a whole new pc yet, i wait till some other time.

What kind of games do you play? I've done a lot of research about this...

If your planning on playing FPS, Oblivion, etc the 7600GT or 1650XT will both be good choices, anything better will be bottlenecked and a waste of money (remember that AGP cards cost more money) (you can also go with the GS, Pro versions and save some bucks just make sure that it comes with gddr3 and not ddr2)

If you playing Supreme Commander, Warhammer MOC, etc... then you should invest the money on CPU/MB

What is your current card? If it's GF 6800 or R X8xx then I wouldn't recommend upgrading at all, I would save the money.
