SSD - The Performance Upgrade of the Future
Need advice ! On my first Raid 0 setup I have XP On my second Raid 0 setup I want to install Vista. I have a Asus P5WD2-E mobo and it says that on the Intel Raid connections 2 are bootable and the other two only for data. However I thought I understood that for installing Vista that was no problem because of the bootloader. In the Bios I can see my first Raid 0 setup as primairy and the second Raid 0 setup as dynamic. All advices/suggestions are welcome.
Additional : The Vista Installer says that it is impossible to install on the dynamic Raid 0. And making a partition on a Raid 0 config is performance wise not the best thing to do. Experts advise needed !
Two RAID 0? You've got 4 hard drives? Hope you don't have any valuable data on there...
