I full backed up my pocket pc ver. 2002. Later I did reset the unit, when
restoring the backup that I just made early, I got a message that the
restore could not copy the "Categories Database" in the device, and it gave
me the option to try again (which I did, and it does not work,) and to Skip,
skipping the "Categories Database" allows me to get the message that the
"restore was completed". However, some applications will not work properly.
My mail sync is not working anymore. I write a message in the Pocket PC and
I see in the sync screen that it is syncing but nothing is sent to my
Microsoft outlook out mailbox to be sent. I checked the sync mail box
already.
Please, help !
This is happening every time I try restore from a full backup session.

Hi

You have a serius problem here, i would copy all the data you can from he
device and then do a hard reset and install all software by hand again.

Unless you can recreate the catagories database by hand og from the backup,
you wont get it to work..

I have been doing that Allan, However, I lost all the possibilities to
restore any backup to my device.
Thanks
