What should i do? need your opinion - purchasing xp

I have maxed my budget for my new computer but i still must buy windows upgrade xp. Now are there any good deals on the program anyone can tell me about. I was considering downloading it and a good keygen for it but i think microsoft might put me on a watchlist if i attempted to register it. Is this a good or bad idea, and where can i purchase xp for the best price?

no, i mean no one's gonna come break down your door, but you'll have an annoying reminder each time you login and an icon in your system tray stating you have an illegal copy of the software

and you won't be able to do any windows updates or download some of microsoft's components from their website that require validation, the keys you want to use have already probably been blacklisted anyway...but by law they're not allowed to collect any personal information about you without your permission, even if you're using an illegal copy

now there are some workarounds available, but in the end it's pretty annoying to have to re-apply new cracks hacks and patches to get around their validation systems

another problem is the activation of the product, some downloads have an activation which you'll have to kill before the 30 day grace period is over, others have xp versions that don't even have activation clock at all so it's fine

I hate to break the news to you, but MS has a list of all the Coporate CD keys. Why are you advocating software piracy? It's only $84.00 for a legal copy.
