Choice of GPU

Good day,

I recently got a refund for my X1950XTX Toxic edition which broke a while ago, and if I pay $20 extra I can get a 8800GTX, or I could be a cheapass and buy the 8800GTS - either 640MB or 320MB.

I'm just wondering which one to choose... I usually play at a resolution of 1600x1200, but I'm getting a new screen soon which goes up to 2048 x 1536; and I'm wondering whether I should get a 8800GTX, or get a 8800GTS 320MB and 1TB of extra storage space (I need it)

What do you guys think?

Yea that was the HD I was planning to get; but I don't think I can afford both the GTX and the HD for now..

The other thing is, I wish I could order from Newegg, but I live in Switzerland and everything is about twice as expensive >_<

Split the difference and get an 8800GTS/640...

Just curious, would you be able to save some money by taking a train to France or Germany and buying your parts there? Are prices just as bad there too?

Well, the 8800GTS/640 isn't that much performance difference over the price, no? So if I'd go for the more expensive version, I'd rather take an 8800GTX...
I might just go for a GTX after all...

In any case, I got a refund, so I actually need to buy the gpu from the swiss shop =(

Pay the $20, the GTX is worth far more than that over the GTS-640.
