Hi. I was updating my wifes computer yesterday with an update recommended by Windows. So I allowed it to up her Internet Explorer 6 to 7, but now her Internet Explorer will not open. It just opens a window and locks the computer. How can I roll back the version so I can just use IE6. Many many thanks in advance. :?

Just go to Add/Remove Programs and uninstal Windows Internet Explorer 7.

Please forgive my lack of knowledge on this, but won't that just force me to install IE7 again? Will that take me back to IE6??? Thanks again Grumpy, as your knowledge is helping me on this one.

If Windows Update tries to reinstall IE7, just click the Later button and it will be made an optional update.
