I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem but ever since i upgraded to firefox 2.0, its much slower than before; slow to load and slow to open web pages. Does anyone have this problem?

I am saying it slow with respect to the speed firefox 1.5/IE7 loads pages.

I have already done the "pipeline" mods that are typically recommended but that hasnt seem to improve performance...

get rid of all your add-ons and see if it performs any better

It's probably an extension, try going into safe mode in Firefox.

Start menu Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla Firefox (safe Mode)

If it runs fine there you have a bad extension, If it still runs flaky reinstall FF.
