What did IE7 do to YOUR computer?

So far I've had five friends and two clients come calling me for help after Internet Explorer 7 caused problems ranging from IE locking up, to rendering the computer un-bootable. In one case even safe mode would not work.

Being ever the cynic I know quite well that spyware and adware is often the culprit, but still I wonder how many people are having issues.

I got slooowww browsing. :)

I'm seriously considering going back to IE6.

Tabbing is nice to keep things organized though.

There's actually a dirty little secret about IE and tabbed browsing... it can be done with IE 6, you just need the latest MSN toolbar.

;)

But IE 7 has worked well for me on all computers I've tried it on, so I haven't felt the need to do this.

I didn't know of that. If I end up rolling back to IE6 I'll definitely give it a try.

Thanks!
