Problem on boot up

I used msconfig to shut off some start up items, now when I reboot the computer I get a message that wiindows has blocked some items from automatically starting. When I view whats been blocked, I see that it's the items I left checked in msconfig. Even if i enable all and reboot, it still gives me the message. My antivirus, and windows sidebar are two of the items blocked. I have no way of getting them to show permitted. At first I thought it was windows defender, so I turned it off and still the same problem. Everything was working fine until I used msconfig.
