Hello experts, I need some help for a rather pequliar problem.
My OS is a WinXP Pro SP2.
I seem to be getting the classic "**** has encountered a problem and needs to close...." error from any application that tries to access the Internet. This includes IE, the Live Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, Limeware, uTorrent, any application, the moment I try to access the Interent with it. For example, I'll get the error the moment I try to log on with MSN, but not when I initially launch the messenger.
However, if I don't actually click the Don't Send button, the applications work just fine...
The problem has started when I accidently turned off the PC without a proper shut down.
I don't actually get the errors in Safe Mode, but then again, I have no internet connection there.
The error signature for IE is:
AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2900.2180 ModName: unknown
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00140711
for MSN :
AppName: msnmsgr.exe AppVer: 8.0.812.0 AppStamp:44cc1896
ModName: unknown ModVer: 0.0.0.0 ModStamp:00000000
fDebug: 0 Offset: 00070711
Any ideas?
