I have an Ipaq 2215 and was wondering how many Bluetooth items can be used
at once?

Can I use a the Think Outside keyboard and mouse at the same time? Can I
beam a contact via Bluetooth while using one or both?

Please respond to group.

Thank you,

CMD

I can;t speak specifically about the radio on a 2215, but on another Ipaq I
can definitely use multiple Bluetooth items at the same time (such as
headphones and GPS). I would assume the same would be true for all recent
ipaqs but cannot say for certain.

There have been other recent posts on this topic in this newsgroup, and the
wise ones here suggest that it comes down to the individual BT profiles, and
only one instance of a profile can be used at a time. This makes sense to
me, but according to your examples this would not be an issue. For more
info check recent posts here.

That's pretty much the straight skinny. You will have no problem connecting
both the Thinkoutside Keyboard and Mouse (silly if you couldn't, eh) and
beaming at the same time. You could add connecting via BT AS and connecting
to a GPS (serial profile) as well to that. If you got an HP stereo Headset
which comes with A2DP profile drivers you could listen to the beeps and
boops and music on the headphones while you were doing all that too. So far
all different profiles.
