how to enable NCQ on seagate barracuda 7200.10 320gb?

just want to know how to enable NCQ on Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320Gb 16Mb combined with ASUS P5B Deluxe WiFi-AP? and how to check if the NCQ is already enabled?

I think it's on by default if the OS support it.

Let me know if not, I have the same HDD (2 of them, one for my 2 OS and one for the data) and would like to enable it if it isn't yet.

i've read some article that we have to set the sata controller into AHCI first in order to enable NCQ hdd.

i'll try to install another OS on another hdd and see the result. will post it here later.
